Our Story
One dream made room for another.
Ginki began with two dreams: building a business and becoming an artist. That beginning gave us a bigger ambition: to create opportunities for more artists to be seen.
Technology should open doors for artists.
In a world flooded with AI-generated images, we believe human creativity deserves more room, not less. We use technology to help artists reach new audiences and connect with people, brands and spaces that value original work.
Our starting point is the artist’s perspective: the ideas, choices and brushwork that make a painting personal. Through creative collaborations, that work can find new places beyond the canvas, with photography and video of the making helping to tell its story.
Where it began.
I am Gi, the founder. For more than 20 years, Vinki, Connie and I have been part of one another’s lives. Through changes of direction, difficult years and reasons to celebrate, we have kept showing up.
Vinki kept making time for painting, travelling to learn and using her holidays to practise. My experience was in building brands and running the everyday operations behind a business. Ginki began when we saw how we could help her original work reach people and find opportunities beyond the canvas.
Room for more perspectives.
Vinki is the artist at the beginning of Ginki’s story, not the limit of what it can become. As we grow, we hope to welcome other artists, different perspectives and new creative possibilities.
We want to build a business where technology supports the people behind the work, and where an artist’s ideas, craft and contribution remain visible.
